Sky took a great chance to promote their Sky News iPhone app in The Times amongst the Election coverage.
Whilst The Times was also promoting its own crossword ad in print.
These are two examples of apps being promoted in print show that it is very important to raise awareness of your iPhone app so that people can download them. The Sky app went from 58th most downloaded app in the UK on Thursday 29th April to 33rd on Friday the 30th and 32nd on Saturday 1st May. Shows it works!
